Nagesh Seethiah
About the work
For the 2024 Biennial, Manzé head chef Nagesh Seethiah travels from Naarm/Melbourne to present two nights of dinners in collaboration with the crew at Such And Such. Through his restaurant Manzé, Nagesh provides a contemporary look at Mauritian flavours and dishes that are a part of his heritage, alongside a diverse team of chefs and hospitality professionals. Manzé’s food, and the dining experience as a whole, is not only influenced by Nagesh’s cultural heritage, but largely by his experience working in some of the country’s most coveted restaurants in Melbourne. Equally influential have been his years in Ngambri/Canberra, where his hospitality career began. Manzé is well regarded for its collaborative spirit, both in Melbourne and interstate, and will very much be at home with the team at Such and Such on the nights of 30 September and 1 October.
