fold projects is an artist-run initiative in Fyshwick, Canberra on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country. Melissa Howe and Beth O’Connor founded the initiative in 2026 to create a space for the local arts community to produce and present contemporary art. fold projects houses studios for artists working across disciplines including photography, video, sculpture, performance and sound. The multi-purpose project space enables studio artists and the broader arts community to host exhibitions, screenings, performances and other programmed events. fold projects supports artists to connect with audiences in Canberra, across Australia and internationally through a curated program and collaborations with other art spaces.
