About the work

This year, Rosalind exhibits works with sydenham international at ARI BANAL(E) at Hyatt Hotel and in Fragile Assembly at the National Botanical Gardens gallery with Anna May Kirk and Jacqueline Bradley. This new series of bite size bronze snack monuments are playful, precarious arrangements. Cast peanuts, marshmallows and cut fruit offer humour whilst lending permanence and quiet monumentality to everyday forms.

About the artist

Rosalind Lemoh is an Australian sculptor who graduated from the ANU School of Art with First Class Honours in 2007. A national finalist with international exhibitions, her work is held in public and private collections in Australia and the UK and most recently profiled in Art Collector’s Undiscovered and Underrated 2026 issue.

Lemoh creates sculptural objects, assemblage and text-based works that range from miniature to full-body scale. Informed in part by her West African heritage, she casts fruits, animals and found objects using highly detailed moulds, transforming them into bronze, concrete and aluminium. Drawing on still-life traditions, her practice considers memorial, inheritance and the personal as political. Working across bronze, glass, photography and assemblage, she explores the visible and invisible dimensions of race and identity in a contemporary Australian context.
