About the artist

Numbers is an independent not-for-profit gallery based in Kings Cross, Sydney. Founded in January 2026 by Sebastian Henry-Jones, Emma O’Neill, and Harrison Witsey, it was established in response to the ongoing reduction of affordable creative space and supporting infrastructure for artists in Sydney.

Numbers presents exhibitions, public programs, and critical writing with a focus on artists whose practices have been overlooked. The program is shaped by an interest in the social, political, and historical contexts in which contemporary art is produced and exhibited, looking to articulate the ways in which cultural material reflects the conditions under which it is made.
